Mashable's #CurioCity London Trip Recap
Jamie Nanquil | @the_jamielynn All good things must come to an end, and an amazing #CurioCity-filled weekend is no exception.
In my last blog, we had ended our first day by attending 3beards "Don't Pitch Me Bro!" event. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, it did. Friday morning was kicked off by a street art tour around Shoreditch. It's a guided tour you wouldn't expect. Instead of being shown the usual historical buildings, we were told the story of London's East End by what was depicted on the sides of those buildings—typically unseen or unnoticed. For someone as enamored with visual arts as I am, it was a smorgasbord of inspiration and design. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend checking this out.
After an afternoon of shopping, we attended an epic MashBash event at Hoxton Grill that brought together both London's and Austin's tech innovators. Such revels can only be experienced through photos.

The following day, we filled with typical London sightseeing adventures including St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London Poppies display, Westminster Abbey, and most notably Big Ben.
The trip concluded with a brilliant evening at The Tramshed, Mark Hix’s celebrated steak and chicken restaurant. We were brought to the chef's table at the restaurant's hidden library and were cooked a four-course meal that I'd like to relive again and again. Special thanks to Chef Kevin Gratton (@KevGrattonchef) for showing us a new side of British cuisine!

I had a phenomenal time and can't thank our new friends at British Airways and Mashable enough for allowing me to experience the trip of a lifetime!
