Finding Love: Top 10 Dating Sites

Arielle | @_ArielleHope It's summer time, which means you probably have a number of summer weddings coming up in the next few weeks (I know I do). It can be daunting, the whole wedding thing, especially for us single gals. We pick the right dress, make sure our makeup looks perfect, and attend these weddings all with the hopes of looking across the room to capture the eyes of a handsome groomsman or guest and fall madly in love. Well, I'm pretty sure the chances of that happening are fairly slim.

Don't despair though ladies, as I'm sure you know there are many ways to capture a man nowadays. Dating sites, anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Okay, well maybe you're a bit skeptic. I am too, trust me, but after a thorough investigation I've compiled a list of some of the best and interesting dating sites out there right now.  After all, of the 50 million Americans, 40 million have tried online dating; and incase you still aren't convinced, at age 26 there are more men seeking women through online dating sites.

Dating sites have evolved to include a variety of methodologies for matching a couple. Tastebuds, for example matches you based on the type of music you both enjoy. MySingleFriend, consists of a bunch of your overly-involved, well-meaning friends writing a tidbit about you and helping you find your match. You can also link a few of these to your other social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, or Last.fm. This helps some sites, for example, take your likes on Facebook and incorporate them into your matching.

So, take a look, and maybe take a chance because your Mr. or Mrs. Right is out there somewhere. Happy matching!
